Daddy-o and Dames:

You ever been to a murder mystery dinner? You know, where someone gets bumped off?

I want to invite you to Summer Santa’s roaring 1920’s mystery dinner. Quite a caper we got planned.

It’s called “MYSTERY, MAYHEM & MOBSTERS” and it looks to be the bee’s knees.

Fun, loads of it, for the charity I co-founded 20 years ago.

Summer Santa always has the best fun-raisers, and I’m inviting you and your favorite mystery solvers.

It’s Saturday, Feb. 10 at 6:30 pm at Marriott Solana Westlake.

The $100 per person ticket covers the dinner theater’s mystery mayhem. We'll let you in for the cash bar speakeasy for giggle water, too. Ssshh.

More important, we’ll use money raised, as always, to send kids from our area to summer camp in 2018. Summer Santa has already sent 4,576 to camps since we started, so you know we’re the Real McCoy.

SummerSanta.org, as you probably know, is all-volunteer with no office or staff expenses. It’s one-of-a-kind.

That’s how we’ve distributed 35,000 summertime toys, bought school clothing for 2,300 young children and done so much more without spending a penny on salaries. For 20 years! But with such low overhead, we need your help to pay for the kids and their programs.

Please come to our murder mystery event. You can register here. If the link doesn’t work, go to SummerSanta.org and click on “Events.” If you can’t make it but want to help, you can make a tax-deductible donation (some scratch) on the secure main page, too.

I promise the cat’s pajamas. Our fun-raisers are always putting on the ritz. I hope you can share a swell night for a great cause of kids.

People are asking what to wear. Regular Saturday night attire (glad rags) is fine, but roaring 20s attire is welcome. Look for me with the violin case.
