“There's tremendous interest in this play,” Blair says about the new production. “Amon Carter bequeathed us this wonderful city. The play shows how for half a century he led it and shaped it.”

Carter created KXAS-TV (NBC5) in 1948 as WBAP-TV. He also created WBAP-AM and ran the Star-Telegram for a half century.
