I believe my storytelling in business formula in as good or as better as anyone else's in the world. “Dave's Magic V-Shaped Storytelling Formula” is the simplest, fastest and best way to tell a story.
I'm certain of that because I've shown thousands how to do it in writing, speaking and all forms of storytelling.
It's so gratifying to see someone else take my formula and view it through their own eyes.
That's what the 80from20 website did. That's a helpful site designed to assist businesses. “80% of the results come from 20% of the effort and knowledge” is their core philosophy.
I enjoyed their analysis of my work. My favorite part is when they wrote:
But one of the best parts I learned from Dave Lieber for business is how conflict is one of the most valuable tools you have to sell your idea, your product, or your solution. He explains it when he shows the shape of a good story, and the importance of explaining the ‘low point.'
If you explain the low point properly, your listener will be left wondering ‘how are they going to get out of this one?’ In Dave Lieber’s case it was the prayer that he said when he’d fallen off that rodeo bull – in your audience’s case it will be your idea, product or solution that can help provide a resolution to the problem or conflict created in your story.
