Dave Lieber helps others learn how to create change for the better through powerfully-told stories. He is The Watchdog investigative columnist for The Dallas Morning News and Dallas.com. He is also the author of eight books designed to entertain, enlighten and educate.
Dave is a certified professional speaker who speaks more than 100 times a year to local, state, national and international groups.
Dave has one foot in the Texas non-profit world as co-founder of one of North Texas’ largest children’s charities – www.SummerSanta.org – which is all volunteer with no physical staff. Summer Santa, as Dave designed it, has almost no overhead. More than a million dollars has been raised and spent on children’s programs during the past two decades.
For his work on Summer Santa, Dave won the coveted Will Rogers Humanitarian Award from the National Society of Newspaper Columnist. The honor goes to the North American columnist who has done positive good work for his or her community.
